Today, I'm thrilled to host Kameron Brook and Dirk Tyler. You have one sexy blog.
Thank you, Angelica. Each day is so unique, which makes the development process so exciting for me.
How many tumblr feeds do you follow?
I actually had to go look. Between my laptop and cell,
I’m following ten sites – gay, lesbian, straight, a mixture, and tattooed individuals.
Daring question, but how much time do spend flipping through images? Do you have folders for them?
I used to store them in folders but then I’d forget where I found the images.. Now, I leave the sites open in various windows, refresh when I need to create a blog post, and start browsing. Usually I scan them first in the morning, again in the afternoon, and occasionally at night.
Nothing like three square meals of photographic indulgence! How do you get word out about your blog? What social media have you found most helpful?
I’ve joined several Facebook pages to promote posts. Plus when I showcase authors, their fans click on it and some have followed because of it.
I've picked up readers from guests as well. Great to find common interests (and not so common). It's Dirk and Kam's place. Who does what? How do you split up the duties?
Since Dirk has a full time job outside of writing, I’ve taken over the duties of the blog. When something breaks or looks off and I can’t seem to fix the bug, that’s when my techie husband steps in to fix the issue.
A techie husband...no I can't relate at all checks he's not following her blog You showcase a lot of authors. How do you find them? Or do they find you?
Some I meet at Facebook events. Some have been forwarded to me. Others, I suggest a cross promotion after a friend request is issued.
I imagine that leads to a lot of contacts! Great tactic. Do you use standard questions or do you tailor them to the author? How do you build your questions?
Every author receives the same ten questions. I love how their answers vary though. No two authors are the same.
I'll bet! You have several books out under Razor's Edge Press. Was that difficult to establish? Did you try any other publication routes?
REP was the first erotic house I submitted to. This goes for Dirk, too. We definitely lucked out. I know many others have submitted to several houses before getting picked up. The process can be discouraging so again I say – WE LUCKED OUT!
I was almost as lucky. I submitted to one (yes, only one) publisher before Naughty Nights. They've been fabulous.
Kameron and Dirk, a passionate couple in and out of the bedroom, has decided to join forces and bring their erotic imagination to life with words. Their solo stories are electric; however, the works they create together will practically sizzle off the page. Yes, they might live in a quiet suburb neighborhood, but they’re anything but tame and unadventurous. A fact you shall read and learn about soon enough.
Sinfully Delicious - Kam and Dirk collaboration
Christine's been without a man for far too long, so she lets her BFF Jasmine talk her into speed-dating. Unfortunately, far too many of her dates are romantic non-starters -- in the worst way. But all it takes is one... and when the right man comes along, he's Sinfully Delicious.
